Young family shares time with Wings' Haitian staff
The McGreevy family spent some extended time in Juampas, Haiti with Wings of Hope International to learn from the organization and contribute where they could with their skill-sets and experiences. Roxana (Delta Flight Attendant with a Master's in Ministry), John (Ph.D. candidate focusing on Haiti), and Bennett (1-year-old son) worked with Wings staff on technology training, helping with visiting volunteers, and interpreting for American medical personnel.
Despite having to leave Juampas early due to John getting sick while working in another region of Haiti, Roxana, John, and Benny plan to continue working with Wings. They are currently using what they learned during their stay to temporarily help from afar with website improvement and other content.
